Scientific collaboration with colleagues and institutions of Montenegro.
My first collaboration with colleagues from Montenegro goes back to Year 2015, when Dr. Velibor Spalevic was invited to Iran's 10th National Conference on Watershed Management Sciences and Engineering. After that we continued our collaborations with Dr. Velibor Spalevic, Dr Milic Curovic, Dr. Goran Barovic, Dr. Svetislav Popovic, Dr. Goran Skataric, Dr. Dusko Vujacic and some other Montenegrin colleagues mainly based on the application of IntErO model to predict and assess soil erosion and sediment yield in a large number of watersheds in various parts of Iran, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal and Brazil, under the leadership of Dr. Spalevic. The AgroSym on Jahorina was then another platform that further improved scientific and social collaborations between researchers from Iran and Montenegro. We strengthened there the collaboration by signing a memorandum between our universities. After 4 years of scientific collaborations, Dr. Spalevic invited me as a member of Scientific Commute in the International GEA (Geo Eco-Eco Agro) conference held in Podgorica that was arranged in the period 1-3 November 2018.
On 2019, being a scientific committee member of Tarbiat Modares University and also a member of the board of directors of Watershed Management Society of Iran, invited our good Montenegrin colleagues to visit some universities and research centers of Iran. That was a great experience with Montenegrin colleagues, full of exchange of ideas and new research challenges. During their mission to Iran, we together drafted action plans for new International gathering, which will be held this year in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Finally I am pleased to state that I am a member of Scientific Committee of the GEA International (Geo Eco-Eco Agro) Conference that is planned for 28-31 May 2020, Podgorica, Montenegro. My position is also a Conference coordinator for Iran and all the Western Asia.
