Research and Professional Experience:
She was appointed as a Research Associate in 2012 and a Senior Research Associate in 2017. She works at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad since 2000. She attended courses and participated in international conferences; Had completed the course Instrumental analysis method, NIR method in Perten instruments AD, Stockholm, Sweden, 2008; She was a Quality Coordinator for ISO Standard, 2008-. Certificate No: SEE-0175 This is to certify that PhD Vera Popović: “ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Internal Auditor, BSI. Eurasia-British Standards Institution”, 10-11/10/2011.
The author and co-author of six monographs and two books. She was a member of the commission in ten doctoral dissertations. As an author and co-author ten varieties: varieties of soybean (Glycine max): NS Zoja; California bluebell (Phacelia tanacetifolia): NS Priora; Faba bean (Vicia faba L.): NS Stribog; buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum): Novosadska; millet (Panicum miliaceum): Biserka, three varieties of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor): Alba, Gold and Prima and two variety of linseed (Linum usitatissimum): NS Primus and NS Marko.
She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Horticulture and Plant Research (Switzerland), Journal of PKB Agroeconomic, Belgrade (Serbia) and Alternative Crops and Cultivation Practices, Novi Sad (Serbia). She is a reviewer of Journal Agriculture and Forestry (Podgorica), Genetika-Belgrade, PSE, Pakistan Journal of Botany, etc.
